Liu Xiufeng

Dr. Xiufeng Liu, Chair Professor at the Faculty of Education, University of Macau. He received his Ph.D. from the University of British Columbia in 1993. Prior to joining the University of Macau, he was a Distinguished Professor at the Graduate School of Education at the State University of New York at Buffalo and served as a Program Director at the National Science Foundation in the United States. His research areas include STEM education measurement and assessment, with a particular focus on the application of Rasch measurement theory. He has published over 140 peer-reviewed works, including 14 authored and edited books.
Prof. Liu is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), a recipient of the Sustained Achievement Award for Distinguished Scholars at the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a visiting/honorary professor at several universities in China, including Beijing Normal University and Northeast Normal University.
